В ходе фестиваля Visit Dagestan более 90 участников международного кулинарного чемпионата из России, Азербайджана, Армении и Грузии соревновались в нескольких номинациях: поварское дело, приготовление чуду (лепешка с начинкой), пирогов и другой сладкой выпечки. Отдельно проходили соревнования по ресторанному сервису.
В круглом столе по возможностям гастрономического туризма в Дагестане приняли участие члены правительства Республики, профессионалы индустрии гостеприимства из разных районов Дагестана, а также эксперты из Армении, Грузии и Франции.
В рамках фестиваля Visit Dagestan было торжественно подписано Соглашение о сотрудничестве Республики Дагестан, в лице Министра по туризму и народным художественным промыслам Рабият Закавовой, и Международного эногастрономического центра, в лице его президента Леонида Гелибтермана.
Грузинская Кулинарная Федерация, в лице её президента Левана Кобиашвили, приняла президента МЭЦ в Почётные члены Федерации, а организаторы 1-го Международного гастрономического фестиваля Visit Dagestan-2018 вручили Леониду Гелибтерману памятную медаль.

From 24 to 28 of March in the capital of the Republic of Dagestan under the auspices of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy the 1st International Gastronomic festival Vizit Dagestan-2018 was held. Leonid Gelibterman became a member of the international jury of the culinary championship as a judge of WorldChefs-WACS and has also acted as the moderator of a round table concerning the opportunities of gastronomy tourism in Dagestan in frames of festival’s business programme.
During the Vizit Dagestan festival more than 90 participants of the international culinary championship from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia competed in several nominations: cook business, preparation of chyudu (flat cake with a stuffing), pies and other pastries. Separately competitions for restaurant service took place there.
Members of government of the Republic of Dagestan, experts of hospitality industry from different regions of Dagestan and experts from Armenia, Georgia and France took part in the round table devoted to the opportunities of gastronomic tourism in Dagestan.
During Vizit Dagestan festival the Agreement about cooperation of the Republic of Dagestan, in the person of Ms. Rabiyat Akhmedova, Minister of Tourism and Ethnic Arts and Crafts, and Mr. Leonid Gelibterman, President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy, was solemnly signed.
The Georgian Culinary Federation, in the person of its President Mr. Levan Kobiashvili, has accepted the president of ICWAG in Honorary Members of the Federation, and the organizers of the 1st International Gastronomic Festival Vizit Dagestan-2018 have handed to Leonid Gelibterman a commemorative medal.
According to the decision of the government of the Republic of Dagestan the Festival will be held in Makhachkala annually.
