On February 7, H. E. Juan Genaro del Campo Rodriguez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Russian Federation, went to visit the Yaroslavl Region. During the visit, the Ambassador held a working meeting with a delegation of the heads of several ministries of the Yaroslavl Region headed by Ms. Marina Kashina, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region. The ICWAG President, Mr. Leonid Gelibterman, also took part in the negotiations. The dinner of Peruvian cuisine, held at the “Vanilla Sky” restaurant, continued the business program. More than 100 residents of Yaroslavl and guests of the city explored and tasted the famous Peruvian dishes cooked by the winner of the Peruvian Government Award, one of the most titled Russian chefs Mr. Rashid Rakhmanov (St. Petersburg). A rich cultural program prepared by the teams of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy (ICWAG) and the “Vanilla Sky” restaurant perfectly complemented the atmosphere of the dinner. The Peruvian gastronomic dinner was the first event in a new international project of the ICWAG and the “Vanilla Sky” restaurant called “Cuisines of the peoples of Russia and the world in Yaroslavl”.
