A charity gastronomic dinner featuring Indian cuisine took place at the Moscow restaurant “Senpolia”. For the first time, the teams of the project “Tourism Business with an Open Heart” led by Konstantin Isaakov, the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy headed by Leonid Gelibterman, the Restaurant House of Ksenia Karaulova, and renowned Indian chef Nagendra Mahadevappa joined forces to organize the event. The charity initiative was supported by the Embassy of India in the Russian Federation, numerous partners, and volunteers. The organizers aimed to raise 113,000 rubles to purchase specialized medical equipment for Felician Vinkara, a 10-year-old patient of the children’s hospice “House with a Lighthouse.”Thanks to the guests of the evening — among whom, in addition to Russian attendees, were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka, diplomats, and representatives of the Indian diaspora in Moscow — a total of 296,200 rubles was raised for Felician Vinkara. The remaining 178,200 rubles will be donated to support the next young patient of the children’s hospice “House with a Lighthouse,” which has been supported by the project “Tourism Business with an Open Heart” for the past ten years.
