On April 30, a delegation of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy held negotiations with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to the Russian Federation, María del Rosario Portell Casanova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation. Key areas included Uruguay’s participation in the preparation of informational materials for the book “The Great Gourmet Traveler’s Guide: Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America”, the involvement of Uruguayan chefs in the international project “GastroCamp”, as well as issues related to export–import cooperation.
Following the talks, both sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening the partnership and implementing joint projects aimed at promoting Uruguay’s gastronomic and tourism potential in Russia, as well as advancing Russia’s presence in Uruguay.
