The International Center of Wine and Gastronomy and its president took part in the Transbaikal foreign Economic Forum "New Horizons" in Chita

The Transbaikal Foreign Economic Forum "New Horizons" in 2024 was held under the auspices of the Eastern Economic Forum. On July 19, at the Chita Drama Theater, the ICWAG President Leonid Gelibterman took part in section II "The Far East is the land of adventures: marketing of the region and international tourist routes", presenting a report on gastronomic tourism, as well as in the Plenary session "International Cooperation between Russia, China and Mongolia", with a report "Gastrodiplomacy".

The festival "Tastes of the peoples of Transbaikalia on the Great Tea Road" was attended by the team of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy and the team of the project "Gastrocamp Chita 2024". The team of "Gastrocamp Chita 2024" included brand chef from Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) Erdenee Sumiyadorj; chef Rashid Rakhmanov from St. Petersburg; chef Hosni Ben Amor from Tunisia; brand chef Anton Salnikov, working in Moscow and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky; mixologist/bartender Evgeny Shkarin from Ufa and pastry chef Leilia Kashapova from Kazan. In collaboration with a team of chefs from the Transbaikal Territory, a "Transbaikal menu" was created from 35 original dishes and drinks based on local products.
