Gastrocamp Chukotka 2024

The international project "Gastrocamp Chukotka 2024" has completed its work in the capital of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the city of Anadyr. An international team from 5 countries took part in the work of the gastronomic camp. Chefs Anton Salnikov, Moscow; Sergey Mikhnevich, Donetsk; Thongsuk Channamom, Thailand; Hosni Ben Amor, Tunisia; Dorde Kostic, Serbia; Mauro Piccardi, Italy; as well as mixologist Evgeny Shkarin from Ufa and pastry chef Elena Baklashova from Moscow arrived to Chukotka. Chukotka was presented by experts from the city of Anadyr: Anton Khalin, Kirill Volovik and Yuri Belyaev; from the city of Pevek: Angelika Malkova; from the village of Egvekinot: Galina Morkovina and from the city of Bilibino: Kirill Kovalev and Vilen Giesbrecht. The project team was headed by Leonid Gelibterman, President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy (Moscow).

As a result of hard work, 37 original dishes and 6 original drinks were presented for restaurateurs, food manufacturers, hoteliers, representatives of the tourism business, the public and journalists. Market professionals highly appreciated the work of the team, and the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Vladislav Kuznetsov, presented letters of thanks to the team members.

Gastrocamp Chukotka 2024 will act as a platform for the promotion of Chukotka in Russia and in the world as a promising tourist destination with a rich cultural and unique gastronomic heritage.
