International Gastronomic Festival-Forum “In Siberia – EAT!”

From July 11 to 13, the Mikhaylovskaya Embankment in Novosibirsk hosted the International Gastronomic Festival-Forum “In Siberia — EAT!”, which attracted over 300,000 visitors and became the largest regional event of the summer.

The festival brought together representatives from 6 countries and 13 Russian regions. Its business and cultural program featured leading experts in gastronomy, tourism, crafts, and the creative industries.

At the invitation of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and the festival organizers, Leonid Gelibterman, President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy and Board Member of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, took part in the event. He spoke at the plenary session “Regional Cuisine on the Gastronomic Map of Russia,” offering his expert insight into the development prospects of regional gastronomy in the context of tourism. Additionally, he led a hands-on workshop for forum participants and chaired the jury of the Siberian Federal District’s gastronomic project competition, playing a key role in evaluating creative and practical solutions in the field of gastronomic tourism.

The festival became a major platform for promoting Siberia’s culinary culture and tourism.

Concerts, culinary shows, workshops, craft fairs, and guided tours turned Novosibirsk into a hub for professionals and enthusiasts of gastronomy from across Russia and beyond.
