The ICWAG delegation held a working meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador in the Russian Federation.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of gastronomic and cultural tourism, as well as the possibilities of joint projects to promote the national cuisine of El Salvador in Russia.
A special event was the tasting of Salvadoran cuisine, organized by the Embassy. The participants of the meeting were able to appreciate the traditional tastes of the country.
Following the negotiations, the Embassy expressed its readiness to join the Pacific Cuisine project, as well as to prepare materials for the book "The Great Book of the Gourmet Traveler”. The parties agreed to develop partnership and implement joint initiatives.
As a sign of strengthening friendly ties, the ICWAG representatives presented their Salvadoran colleagues with a book dedicated to Pacific cuisine.
