From 12 to 15 of December, the Forth Forth Forum “Caucasus. The hospitality industry: Invest in the future” was held in Mineralnye Vody as a part of the exhibition-fair “Expanse of Stavropol, New Year's Seasons” (“Razdolie Stavropolia, Novogodnie Sezoni”). The guests of the forum had a unique opportunity to learn more about culinary art and modern technologies in gastronomy from the best specialists in the industry.
The ICWAG President Mr. Leonid Gelibterman was an invited expert at the Round table “Gastrotourism as a driver of regional development”. He gave a brief overview of global trends in enogastronomic tourism and spoke about the successful projects based on a combination of event tourism with local food and beverages production (local cheese, wine, cuisine). Among the other issues discussed within the session were the North Caucasus opportunities in the field of gastronomic tourism development.
