From August 1 to August 6, the Kamchatka Krai hosted the "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2023"

The International Center of Wine and Gastronomy took part as a co-organizer of the international project "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2023". The project team included eminent Russian and foreign chefs who worked together with Kamchatka chefs and restaurateurs for a week.

– Roy Lesmana — brand chef (Indonesia) worked with the team of the restaurant "Two seas, the ocean"

– Thongsuk Channamom — chef (Thailand) worked with the team of the restaurant "Yamato"

– Alexander Chernyshov — brand chef (Russia, Khabarovsk) worked with the “Kvartal” art cafe team

– Konstantin Polunin — brand chef (Russia, Irkutsk) worked with the Friends&Burgers meat and burger joint team

Brand chef Anton Salnikov (“San Marino” restaurant), chef consultant Igor Pintusov (“Boulevard” Cafe), chef Vladimir Lotov ("Sypuchka"), chef Rudolf Khokhryakov (“Pastrami Meat⋅Fish⋅Wine” restaurant) and the restaurant "Mishka" also took an active part in the work of the Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2023.

His Excellency Juan Genaro Del Campo Rodriguez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Russian Federation, became a special guest of the "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2023" project. In Kamchatka, he and the ICWAG President L. Gelibterman held business meetings with the Head of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kamchatka Krai.

For students and teachers of the Kamchatka College of Technology and Service, chefs from Peru, Thailand, Indonesia and the best Kamchatka restaurants held training workshops on the development and cooking of meat and fish dishes. In parallel with the business program of the project, a gastro-festival of cuisines of the Pacific Ocean countries for residents and guests of the Kamchatka Krai was held with great success at the sites of restaurants and cafes of the Kamchatka Krai with the participation of invited chefs.

At the site of the All-Russian Youth Ecological Forum "Ecosystem. Reserved Land" as part of a business lunch "Pacific cuisine. Combining ecology and gastronomy," the Gastrocamp team and invited experts discussed the concept of creating Pacific cuisine.
