On May 13, 2026, in Moscow, a delegation of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy held a working meeting with the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the Russian Federation, Carlos Sebastián Mamani Cuenca.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation in the fields of gastrodiplomacy, gastronomic, and cultural tourism. Particular attention was given to the traditional formats of cooperation, including the organization of gastronomic dinners and Bolivia’s participation in the international “GastroCamp” project.
In addition, the participants discussed matters related to the preparation of the second volume of the book dedicated to gastrodiplomacy, as well as Bolivia’s contribution to the publication “The Great Gourmet Traveler’s Guide: Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.”
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and implementing joint projects aimed at promoting Bolivia’s gastronomic and tourism potential in Russia.
