Dinner of Peruvian cuisine in Buloshnaya restaurant in Moscow. It is July 31, and there is no room to swing a cat in. The official Peru is represented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Luis Benjamin Chimoy Arteaga. The gastronomic Peru is represented by the most popular Russian in Peru – a chef from the city of Perm Rashid Rakhmanov. 600 000 (!) Peruvians voted for him as the Ambassador of Peruvian cuisine in the world. The menu had three cold starters: scallop ceviche with leche de tigre; salmon tiradito with amazonico sauce; and causa of three types of quinoa, potatoes and sauces. Main course (optional): sudado of cod with pariwell sauce and arroz con pato (duck leg with green risotto). Dessert: tres leches (with three types of milk). Alcohol accompaniment: pisco sour cocktail (with Peruvian pisco), wines from New Zealand, Argentina and Chile, as well as Russian bread wine. According to guest reviews, the dinner turned out to be «magic», special thanks to the team of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy and the team of the Buloshnaya restaurant. The dinner was hosted by the president of the ICWAG Leonid Gelibterman.
