On June 25, the President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy, Chairman of the Committee on Gastronomic Tourism of the Russian Union of the Travel Industry L. Gelibterman took part in a meeting of the expert jury of the National Tourism Award «Route Built», within which the winners of the competition in the 2023-2024 season were picked. The best representatives of domestic tourism, whose names will be announced at the award ceremony on July 9, were determined in 19 nominations. A total of 792 applications from 70 regions of Russia were submitted for the competition. At the stage of the popular vote, Russians chose the most vivid and interesting applications from their point of view. These preferences determined the finalists — in each of the 19 nominations, five projects with the most votes were selected. The projects of the leaders of the popular vote were submitted to the expert jury, which determined the winners of the competition.
