Международный эногастрономический центр на греческом острове Корфу

9-13 мая на греческом острове Корфу состоялся первый Фестиваль Еды и Вина (1st Food and Wine Festival), ассоциированным партнером которого выступил МЭЦ.

Программа фестиваля, приуроченного к старту туристского сезона на Корфу, ознаменовалась торжественной церемонией открытия с обширной культурно-развлекательной частью. Леонид Гелибтерман, приглашённый организаторами в качестве почётного гостя и эксперта по гастрономическому туризму международного уровня, выступил на открытии фестиваля с приветственной речью.
10 мая в Школе туризма и кулинарии Корфу президент МЭЦ и российский шеф-повар Рашид Рахманов (гастробар "Metis", Екатеринбург, и ресторанный комплекс "Gastroport", Пермь) провели мастер-класс, представивший студентам и греческим поварам рецепты блюд уральской кухни.


11 мая в ресторане Asterias знаменитого пятизвёздочного отеля Kontokali Bay состоялся совместный ужин Рашида Рахманова и посла кухни Корфу шефа Spyros Voulismas. Гостям ужина, на котором не было свободных мест, было представлено авторское меню, состоящее из блюд греческой, перуанской (Рашид Рахманов является послом перуанской кухни в России) и коми-пермяцкой кухни.
12 мая Леонид Гелибтерман представил участникам международного кулинарного саммита (Греция, Великобритания, Италия и Россия) свой доклад о роли и месте гастрономического туризма в деле развития территорий, а также анализ развития гастрономического туризма на острове. Представители российской делегации в своих многочисленных интервью подчеркнули необходимость тесного взаимодействия специалистов индустрии гостеприимства Греции и России и очевидную выгоду сотрудничества для обоих сторон.

Фестиваль, организованный Муниципалитетом острова Корфу, Торговой палатой Корфу, Ассоциацией ресторанов Корфу и рядом авторитетных организаций острова, проводимый под эгидой Греческой национальной туристической организации и регионального правительства Ионических островов, завершился красочной церемонией и заверением организаторов о том, что теперь он будет традиционным. По предварительно достигнутым договорённостям, остров Корфу вошел в число греческих регионов, в которых будут проводиться мероприятия Российской гастрономической недели в Греции 22-28 октября 2018 года.

From 9 to 13 of May the 1st Food and Wine Festival was held on a Greek island of Corfu, and the ICWAG has acted as its associate partner.

The programme of the Festival, confined to a start of tourist season, was marked by the solemn opening ceremony with wide cultural and entertaining part. Leonid Gelibterman, who had been invited by the organizers as the guest of honor and the international expert on gastronomy tourism, made a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony.

On 10 of May President of the ICWAG and Russian chef Rashid Rakhmanov (Gastrobar “Metis”, the city of Yekaterinburg, and a restaurant house “Gastroport”, the city of Perm) held master class, representing the receipts of the Ural cuisine to the students and Greek cooks at the School of Tourism Education of Corfu.

On 11 of May in the Asterias restaurant of the famous Kontokali Bay Hotel the joint dinner of Rashid Rakhmanov and Spyros Voulismas, the Ambassador of the Corfu cuisine, took place. The author’s menu consisting from the dishes of Greek, Peruvian (Rashid Rakhmanov is the Ambassador of the Peruvian cuisine in Russia) and Komi-Permyak cuisine was presented to the guests of the dinner where there were no empty seats.

On 12 of May Leonid Gelibterman presented to the participants of the Culinary Summit (Great Britain, Greece, Italy and Russia) his report devoted to the role and the place of gastronomy tourism in the matter of territorial development and also the analysis of the gastronomy tourism development on the island. Representatives of the Russian delegation in their numerous interviews have emphasized a necessity of close interaction of experts of the hospitality industry of Greece and Russia and obvious benefit of cooperation for both parties.

The Festival organized by the Municipality of Corfu, the Corfu Chamber of Commerce, Association of Restaurant Owners & Associate Professions of Corfu and a number of authoritative organizations of the island, held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Regional Government of the Ionian Islands has come to the end with a colourful ceremony and the organizers assured that now the event will be traditional.
According to the preliminary achieved agreements the Island of Corfu will be included to the list of the Greek regions where the events of the Russian Gastronomy Week in Greece will be held from 22 to 28 of October, 2018.
