From 9 to 13 of May the 1st Food and Wine Festival was held on a Greek island of Corfu, and the ICWAG has acted as its associate partner.On 10 of May President of the ICWAG and Russian chef Rashid Rakhmanov (Gastrobar “Metis”, the city of Yekaterinburg, and a restaurant house “Gastroport”, the city of Perm) held master class, representing the receipts of the Ural cuisine to the students and Greek cooks at the School of Tourism Education of Corfu.
On 12 of May Leonid Gelibterman presented to the participants of the Culinary Summit (Great Britain, Greece, Italy and Russia) his report devoted to the role and the place of gastronomy tourism in the matter of territorial development and also the analysis of the gastronomy tourism development on the island. Representatives of the Russian delegation in their numerous interviews have emphasized a necessity of close interaction of experts of the hospitality industry of Greece and Russia and obvious benefit of cooperation for both parties.
