17 апреля столичный отель "Балчуг Кемпинский" превратился в "маленькую Португалию" для сотен профессионалов алкогольного рынка и ресторанного дела из Москвы, других российских регионов и зарубежных стран.
Мероприятие Wines of Portugal 2018, организованное при содействии Международного эногастрономического центра, стало самой масштабной дегустацией португальских вин в России за всю историю.
Событие стартовало со специального брифинга для представителей виноделен из Португалии, который провели Леонид Гелибтерман, президент МЭЦ, и Роман Репей, генеральный директор виноторговой компании "Ассамбляж". Эксперты представили участникам брифинга актуальную аналитическую информацию о доле рынка португальских вин в России, структуре импорта винодельческой продукции и рыночной конъюнктуре в алкогольной отрасли.
Специальный мастер-класс от гостьи из Португалии госпожи Софии Сальвадор, специалиста-энолога международного уровня компании ViniPortugal, в сопровождении Анжелики Субботиной, генерального директора и шеф-сомелье Wine Shop-Wine Club-Wine Catering Company "LeSommelier" из Москвы, собрал более 50 профессионалов алкогольного рынка — сомелье, кавистов, представителей виноторговых компаний, ритейла, экспертов. На закрытой дегустации были представлены 8 специально отобранных образцов игристого вина, белых и красных тихих вин, 20-летнего Москателя и Портвейна. Участники мастер-класса по достоинству оценили качество предложенных вин, дегустация которых сопровождалась увлекательной презентацией от именитых ведущих.
Кульминацией "дня Португалии" в московском "Балчуге" стала большая дегустация Wines of Portugal, на которой представители 41 португальской винодельни продемонстрировали гостям лучшие образцы своей продукции, привезённой в Москву за тысячи километров. Посетители салона получили уникальную возможность продегустировать молодые и выдержанные, тихие и игристые, столовые и десертные вина из разных винодельческих уголков Португалии — Алентежу, Винью Верде, Дору, Лиссабона, Порто, Полуострова Сетубал, Тежу и других, знаменитых на весь мир, апелассьонов этой удивительной страны.
Посетителями большой дегустации стали порядка 600 московских сомелье, кавистов, F&B менеджеров отелей, представители ритейла, бутиков, виноторговых компаний, винных клубов, рестораторов, экспертов, и журналистов.
"Добро пожаловать в мир уникальных вин" — так гласил девиз Wines of Portugal 2018, гости которого смогли по-настоящему погрузиться в калейдоскоп неповторимых винных букетов и открыть для себя новые органолептические
впечатления.

On 17 of April, the capital hotel "Baltschug Kempinsky" has turned into "small Portugal" for hundreds of professionals of the alcoholic market and restaurant business from Moscow, other Russian regions and foreign countries.
The event of Wines of Portugal 2018, organized with assistance of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy, became the most large-scale tasting of the Portuguese wines in Russia for all history.
The activity started with a special briefing for representatives of wineries from Portugal which was held by Leonid Gelibterman, the president of ICWAG, and Roman Repey, the CEO of the wine trading company "Assamblyazh". Experts have presented to participants of the briefing relevant analytical information on a share of the market of the Portuguese wines in Russia, structure of import of wine-making products and market conditions in alcoholic branch.
The special master class from the guest from Portugal madam Sofia Salvador, the specialist oenologist of the international level of the ViniPortugal company, accompanied by Anjelica Subbotina, the CEO and the chief sommelier of Wine Shop-Wine Club-Wine Catering Company "LeSommelier" from Moscow, has brought together more than 50 professionals of the alcoholic market — the sommeliers, cavists, representatives of the wine trading companies and a retail sector, and experts. On the closed tasting 8 specially selected samples of sparkling wine, white and red still wines, 20-year-old Moskatel and Porto wine have been presented. Participants of a master class have appreciated a quality of the offered wines which tasting was followed by the fascinating presentation from eminent spokespersons.
The grand wine tasting of Wines of Portugal on which representatives of 41 Portuguese wineries have shown to guests the best samples of their production brought to Moscow for thousands of kilometers became the culmination of "day of Portugal" in the Moscow Baltschug Hotel. Visitors of salon have had a unique opportunity to taste the young and matured, still and sparkling, table and sweet wines from different wine-making corners of Portugal — Alentejo, Vinho Verde, Douro, Lisbon, Porto, the Peninsula Setubal, Tejo and others, well-known for the whole world, appellations of this amazing country.
About 600 Moscow sommeliers, cavists, F&B managers of hotels, representatives of retail sector, boutiques, wine trading companies, wine clubs, restaurateurs, experts, and journalists became visitors of grand tasting.
"Welcome to the world of unique wines" — announced the motto of Wines of Portugal 2018, which guests could actually immerse into a kaleidoscope of unique wine bouquets and open for themselves new organoleptic impressions.
