Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2022

From 20th to 28th of June the "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2022" project was held in Kamchatka Krai with support of the Ministry of Tourism of Kamchatka Region. Team of the chefs, confectioners and bartenders were developing recipes of dishes and beverages for создания the «Kamchatka Menu». Only local products were used in signature dishes. Members of teamы headed by the president of ICWAG Leonid Gelibterman were: chef Anton Salnikov (Moscow), chef Rashid Rakhmanov (Saint-Petersburg), chef Sergei Evdokimov (Pskov), pastry chef Elena Baklashova (Moscow), chef Igor Pintusov (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky), itelmenka Albina Morilova (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky), nymylanka Anna Russkich (Village Paren, Penizhina District, Kamchatka Krai), chef Mikhail Nekrasov (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky), itelmenka Galina Kravchenko (Village Kovran, Tagil District, Kamchatka Krai), chef Andrey Matveev (Elizovsky District, Kamchatka Krai) and bartender Evgeniy Shkarin (Ufa). Irina Melnikova (Kaluga city) was the curator of the project, Olga Knutova (ICWAG, Moscow) was a coordinator of this project. Official presentation of the "Kamchatka Menu" dishes for Kamchatka's food producers, restaurateurs, tour businesses and journalists was held on 28th of June at the restaurant of Regional State Budgetary Institution "Sypuchka", which was the basement of the project's team. As a result of the "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2022", catering establishments of Kamchatka Region have 30 recipes of signature dishes and 9 beverages in free use. During the meeting of the Governor of the Kamchatka Krai Vladimir Solodov and the president of ICWAG Leonid Gelibterman the agreement on helding the Gastrocamp in Kamchatka in 2023 with participation of chefs from countries of the EuroAsian Union was conducted.
