On March 17, a meeting was held that opens up new prospects for the development of gastronomic relations between Russia and Argentina.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic to the Russian Federation Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieyra met with Leonid Gelibterman, President of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy (ICWAG).

During the dialogue, the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of the work on the new book "The Great Book of the gourmet traveler. Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America", prepared by Leonid Gelibterman. Interaction with the embassy will enrich the chapter on Argentina with unique materials, photographs, expert comments and authentic recipes.

ICWAG considers this project as an important step in the development of gastrodiplomacy, a tool for strengthening international relations through familiarization with culinary traditions from around the world.
