From 14 to 15 of November the special events dedicated to Peruvian cuisine took place in the city of Volgograd. On the first day, the author's dinner was organized in the restaurant “The Atelier” by the best specialist of Peruvian cuisine in the Russian Federation – chef Rashid Rakhmanov. The dinner was also attended by H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Russian Federation Mr. Juan Genaro del Campo Rodriguez, and Mr. Leonid Gelibterman, the ICWAG President.
A charity auction in support of rare and endangered species of animals was also conducted during the author's Peruvian dinner and organized by the regional branch of the All-Russian Society for the Conservation of Nature (VOOP) in Volgograd.
For the guests of the second evening of Peruvian cuisine Rashid Rakhmanov held a master class on cooking classic authentic Peruvian ceviche and Pisco Sour cocktail at the “Iki Izakaya” bar.
During the visit to Volgograd, H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Russian Federation Mr. Juan Genaro del Campo Rodriguez held talks on cooperation with the executives of the Sady Pridonya (Pridon Gardens) company, the Volgograd State Agricultural University and the “Agrosemcenter” LLC.
