Project Gastrocamp
The “Gastrocamp” project is an innovative development of the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy specialists for the regions of the Russian Federation. A pilot “Gastrocamp” was held in 2021 in the Kaluga Region. Following its results, a press conference was held at the TASS venue with the participation of the heads of 7 subjects of the Russian Federation which was moderated by the Chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Nature V. Fetisov. In 2022, the "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2022" was held, during which 30 original dishes and 9 drinks were created, they were included to the "Kamchatka menu". In August 2023, Kamchatka Krai hosted the international "Gastrocamp Kamchatka 2023" with the participation of chefs from Indonesia, Peru, Thailand, Irkutsk, Moscow, Khabarovsk and Kamchatka Krai. During the “Gastrocamp”, not only author's dishes were created for the "Kamchatka menu", but also agreements were reached on the formation of a working group to develop the concept of Pacific cuisine. In October of 2023 an international "Gastrocamp Buryatia" was held. As a result a "Menu of Buryatia" was created with 32 dishes, 19 sauces and 6 beverages. In 2024 the "Gastrocamp" project took place in Sakhalin Region for the first time, creating the underpinning of "Pacific cuisine" concept.
